Communal Micro-Living in Dallas
Client Southwest Value Partners
Bloc House is a micro-apartment community in Dallas built around one simple idea: that attainable housing and a rich social life should never be mutually exclusive. Small in footprint but big in personality, it was conceived as a neighborhood within a neighborhood, where proximity breeds friendship and shared spaces become the backdrop for everyday moments worth remembering.
Bold graphic language, a vibrant color palette, and a tone of voice that feels more like a friend than a landlord set Bloc House apart from the conventional multifamily landscape. RSM Design's environmental graphic design and wayfinding program carried that energy into the built environment, transforming shared corridors, amenity spaces, and building entries into moments of brand expression that reinforce community culture at every turn.
RSM Design developed the name, narrative, and full brand identity for Bloc House. The naming strategy rooted the community in the language of urban living, with "Bloc" referencing the city block as the fundamental unit of neighborhood connection. A bold graphic language, vibrant color palette, and a tone of voice that feels more like a friend than a landlord came together to create a brand as full of personality as the community it represents.
